Hi there!
As a product of Prince William County Public Schools, I have had the privilege of a 21-year career in education in the county school division. I graduated from West Virginia University (Go Mountaineers!) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcasting. My minors are in Speech Communications and Political Science. I earned my Masters degree in Administration and Supervision, K-12 from George Mason University. While I have spent many years working with Special Education, this year I am working exclusively with Math, Science, Family & Consumer Science and the Business Department. Additionally, I have the pleasure of working with School Safety and Security and Transportation. Prior to coming to Stonewall Jackson High School in 2002, I was an assistant principal at Lake Ridge Middle School. I have taught Language Arts students in grades 7 through 12 at Fred Lynn Middle, Gar-Field Senior High School and Brentsville District Middle-Senior High School. Working directly with students remains the highlight of my days. When not at work, I live out in the country enjoying the quiet life and my menagerie of animals. | |
